Our services on Sunday begin at 9:30 a.m. All the family stays together, so we plan our service to help even the little ones be able to worship. Our message is at the beginning, while the best listening takes place. During the pastor's message, an overhead is provided that illustrates the message for the children. This is a good resource for note taking, sometimes not just for the children either!
The vision for this body of believers is to raise the standard of the family. We believe that in order to have a godly seed to send throughout the world for Christ, the family must worship together. Four elements from Acts 2:42 drive our vision:
Apostle's Doctrine: A message from God's Word -- This brings life to us.
Fellowship: Essential to God and beneficial to each other as we worship and praise before the throne of the Almighty God.
Breaking of Bread: We remember our Savior and Lord as He has commanded us through the Lord's Supper. This is open to all who accept Jesus as Lord; it is our custom to partake as the bread and cup are passed.
Prayer: We stand with each other in prayer; those that visit us may also join in this by either coming forward or placing their request for prayer in the offering box at the back of the sanctuary.
A mother's nursery area is available off the foyer where moms can care for the needs of their infants. A speaker and one-way window allows continued participation with the service.
Ushers are on duty to direct or answer any questions that may arise.
