BUILDING CHRIST-LIKE Character
May, 2008
Seeing and responding to life situations
from a perspective that transcends my current circumstances
Christ-likeness is our goal! Empowered by God's Spirit, we press toward having the character of Jesus. However, "No one is born either naturally or supernaturally with character; it must be developed" (Oswald Chambers). Our families, cells, services, and resources all work toward adding Christian virtue to our faith.
CFM is also an endorsing organization of the Richmond Community of Character Initiative which encourages good character throughout our community (www.characterrichmond.org). We want to bless our city and help prepare spiritual soil where the gospel can grow. Learn more about the materials we use at www.characterfirst.com.
Below are the 49 character qualities of the Character First program. Click on the quality to link to Biblical teaching and study helps.
